The reason why we decided to invest in having our own shopping website was for the SHOPPING CONVENIENCE of our BUYERS.

Since we launched our shopping website www.nuiclothing.com last October 2007, together with our web developer partner, 8292media, we constantly upgrade and develop the system further to be the best it can be. For this, we have been acknowledged by the Philippine Web Awards as Philippine's Best E-commerce website.

However, like any website, we do experience unfortunate glitches once in a while. It usually occurs during monthly launches when traffic is high and orders are placed simultaneously. The number one glitch we encounter is with our inventory system. Since it is live in real time, there are instances when two shopping buyers check-out and submit their order (for the same item) in a matter of seconds difference. The item is then confirmed (via system generated email) and  inventory then reflects a negative (-) inventory, which means item is already sold out at the time of order.

Glitches are uncontrollable and as much as we try to fix it  constantly, it really is a part of maintaining a website. The only thing we can do is monitor and inform the buyer in cases when glitches in inventory happen. We are apologizing in advance for cases like this and we understand ones frustration too. We do try to make-up for it in some ways
